BALANCING THE BODY AND MIND

PURE Mission: To help the patient achieve optimal health, using a more natural holistic approach that focuses on healing and prevention, and that is individually tailored to their needs.

The underlying principle of treatment is that illness and pain occur, when the body's qi, or vital energy, cannot flow freely. There can be many reasons for this; emotional and physical stress, poor nutrition, infection or injury are among the most common.

ACUPUNCTURE

Ultra-fine sterile pins are inserted into specific acupuncture points, to re-establish the free flow of energy, to restore balance and trigger the body's natural healing response.

CUPPING

Cupping helps release painful, stiff and tight muscles, to ease pain. It is compared to a deep tissue massage.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxa, a cone or stick made of ground mugwort leaves is burned on or near acupuncture points. The resulting heat helps stimulate these points and improves the flow of qi (energy) in your body, while promoting a feeling of deep relaxation.
